Questions and answers
- Which is better for a bright living room?
- The Samsung S95H. Its glare-free QD-OLED panel reaches about 1,750 nits and shrugs off window reflections. The LG C5 is dimmer and its anti-glare coating does less in direct sun.
- Is the Samsung worth $400 more?
- Yes if you watch in daylight or want the brightest OLED picture. If you mostly watch at night, the LG C5 delivers the same deep blacks for less.
- Which is better for gaming?
- Both do 4K at 144Hz. The Samsung adds 8.9ms input lag, FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync compatibility. The LG counters with four HDMI 2.1 ports, handy for a console plus two PCs.
- Which lasts longer?
- Neither has a published lifespan edge. The LG bundle includes Allstate 3-year protection for five years total, which is the clearer long-term safety net.
- Do both support Dolby Atmos?
- The Samsung lists Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound+. The LG uses Precision Sound Master Pro virtual surround, which is not the same as Atmos decoding.
- What does the LG bundle include?
- The listing does not itemize it, and bundle contents can vary by retailer. Check the exact contents before ordering.
