Which set is better for a bedroom nightstand?

Both work. The Modern set adds dimming, USB-C and included bulbs. The Adesso set has a softer linen shade and a warm glass base, but you must buy 100W bulbs.

Do I need to buy bulbs for either set?

The Modern set includes two LED bulbs. The Adesso set includes only the 1.8W LED night light; the main light needs a 100W E26 bulb you buy separately.

Can I charge my phone from these lamps?

Yes. The Modern set has USB-A and USB-C on each lamp. The Adesso set has a USB port and an AC outlet at the base.

Is the Adesso set worth $20 more?

Only if you want its white glass-and-linen look. The Modern set costs less, dims, and includes bulbs and USB-C.

Which set is dimmable?

Only the Modern set. The Adesso set has no dimming; its switches are on/off only.

Which is better for a living room?

The Modern set's black metal look and dimming suit a modern living room. The Adesso set's white finish fits lighter, coastal rooms.
