Questions and answers
- Which has the better camera?
- The XT2043 lists a 50MP rear system with ultra-wide and macro lenses. The 2022 unit lists a 48MP rear camera but adds a 16MP front camera and 4K video, so it wins for selfies and video.
- Which lasts longer on a charge?
- Only the XT2043 states a battery: 4,000mAh with 10W charging. The 2022 listing gives no battery figure, so there is no basis to say it lasts longer.
- Do both have a stylus?
- Yes. Both are Moto G Stylus models with a built-in pen for notes and sketching.
- Is the XT2043 worth the extra?
- At $149.99 on November 2, 2026 it is the cheaper of the two on recent evidence. It adds face unlock and a stated battery, so it is the safer buy unless you need dual SIM.
- Can I add more storage to either?
- Yes. Both take a microSD card alongside 128GB built-in storage.
- Which is better for travel?
- The 2022 unit, because dual SIM lets you run a local data plan next to your home number. The XT2043 is single SIM only.
