Questions and answers

Which is better for 4K gaming?

The Thermaltake, because the RTX 5080 is a tier above the RTX 5070 Ti. Both use the same Ryzen 9 9900X3D, so the GPU is the deciding factor.

Is the Thermaltake worth the extra money?

If the price gap is small, yes, since the RTX 5080 is the bigger upgrade. If the gap is large, the MSI is still a capable 1440p machine.

Which has better networking?

The MSI. It lists Wi-Fi 7 and a 2.5Gbps Ethernet port. The Thermaltake only lists Wi-Fi with no speed or LAN details.

Do both come with Windows 11?

Yes, but the MSI ships with Windows 11 Pro and the Thermaltake with Windows 11 Home. Pro adds BitLocker and remote desktop hosting.

Which is easier to upgrade later?

Both use standard desktop parts. The MSI lists four open SATA bays, while the Thermaltake's 750W-class power headroom for a future GPU is not stated.

Which runs cooler?

Both use 360mm liquid cooling on the CPU. GPU cooling depends on the card's own cooler, and the RTX 5080 runs hotter than the 5070 Ti.
