Which is better for a small apartment?

Both are 6.5 ft slim pencil trees, so either fits a tight corner. The Kingswood Fir has a stated 28-inch diameter and 719 tips, which fills out a narrow profile slightly better.

Is the Lolsea worth saving $72?

If you want a remote, timer and color-changing lights, yes. The Lolsea is $79.98 at Walmart as of November 6, 2026 versus $152.49 for the Kingswood Fir at Amazon. You give up the larger review base and the stay-lit-when-a-bulb-fails feature.

The Kingswood Fir has a longer track record: 228 ratings at 4.2 out of 5 and a brand in artificial greenery for over 60 years. The Lolsea has only 19 ratings, so its long-term durability is less proven.

Do the lights work if one bulb burns out?

On the Kingswood Fir, yes, the set stays lit when one bulb goes out. Lolsea does not state that feature for its LEDs.

Which is easier to set up?

Both use hinged branches that drop into place. The Lolsea adds a foldable metal base, a remote and a timer, so you do not need to reach for a wall switch each night.

Can I change the light color on either tree?

Only on the Lolsea, which switches between warm white and color-changing LEDs across 17 modes. The Kingswood Fir has fixed clear incandescent lights.
