Which is better for a small room?

The National Tree Company tree, at 19.75 inches wide, takes far less floor space than the Dextrus at 41.2 inches. If you have room for the wider tree, the Dextrus gives more presence for the same 6 ft height.

Does the Dextrus come with lights?

Yes. It has 300 warm-white LEDs built in, 11 light modes and a remote. The National Tree Company listing does not state any lights.

Is the Dextrus worth the extra?

There is no National Tree Company price given, so the extra cannot be measured. At $69.99 as of October 30, 2026, the Dextrus includes lights, a remote and 550 tips, which an unlit tree would cost extra to match.

Neither listing states a lifespan. The Dextrus carries no written warranty and no NRTL listing, so check the return window before buying. The National Tree Company listing gives no warranty information either.

Is the Dextrus a full tree or a sparse birch look?

It is sold as a birch-style tree with 550 PE tips, so expect a looser, branchy look rather than a dense spruce. The 41.2-inch spread makes it read fuller than the tip count alone suggests.

Can I use the Dextrus outdoors?

The listing recommends indoor use only. The National Tree Company listing does not state a location, so treat both as indoor trees.

National Tree Company 6 ft. White Artificial Christmas Tree with LED Lights vs Dextrus 6 ft Prelit Birch Christmas Tree, White Artificial Christmas Tree with 550 PE Tips & 300 Warm-White Lights, Remote Control, 11 Light Modes

Buy the Dextrus if you want a prelit tree with a remote and multiple light modes; it is the only one of the two with documented lights and a 4.5-out-of-5 rating from 2 ratings. The National Tree Company listing gives no light count, no tip count and no price, so there is nothing to compare on cost. On paper the Dextrus is the better-specified tree, at $69.99 as of October 30, 2026.
