Which is better for a living room with pets?

The SIXHOME. Its low 0.25-inch polypropylene pile traps less pet hair, resists shedding and can go in the washing machine. The Nefoso's 1.7-inch shag holds fur and debris and cannot be washed.

Is the Nefoso worth it at $29.99?

Yes if you want a fluffy shag look on a tight budget. It is $50 less than the SIXHOME as of November 1, 2026, but you give up washability and stain resistance.

The SIXHOME is the safer bet for durability. Tightly woven low-pile polypropylene in high-traffic areas generally outlasts a deep shag, and the SIXHOME has more ratings backing it at 4.6.

Can I put either rug in a washing machine?

Only the SIXHOME. It is labeled washable and foldable. The Nefoso is not machine washable, so clean it by vacuuming and spot cleaning.

Which is softer underfoot?

The Nefoso. Its 1.7-inch shag with a memory foam middle layer feels plusher. The SIXHOME is a low 0.25-inch pile with a flatter feel.

Which fits a dining room or kitchen?

The SIXHOME. Its low pile lets chairs slide and it is stain-resistant and washable. The Nefoso's high shag is a poor fit under a table.
