Which is better for noisy rooms?

The Plus Panthos publishes 6 microphones, which supports stronger directional pickup. The 5001 Square lists directional microphones but no count, so the Plus Panthos is the safer pick on paper.

Which has the longer battery life?

The Plus Panthos states 10 hours of continuous use under average conditions. Nuance does not publish a runtime for the 5001 Square, so it cannot be compared directly.

Will the 5001 Square fit a narrow face?

It is a 54 mm lens with a 150 mm temple, which is a wide frame. The Plus Panthos is 48 mm with a 122.29 mm hinge-to-hinge width and is listed for medium faces, so it fits narrower heads better.

Is the 5001 Square worth $699.00?

That is its only recorded price, as of November 1, 2026. It buys a larger square acetate frame, UV and anti-reflective lenses, and a wireless charging pad. The Plus Panthos has no listed price, so check both before deciding.

Do both work with a phone?

The Plus Panthos lists Bluetooth Low Energy with iOS 16.6.1+ and Android 12+. The 5001 Square lists low-latency audio but no Bluetooth or OS details, so confirm phone pairing before buying it.

Can I put my prescription in either?

Yes. Both are prescription hearing glasses with full-rim frames and prescription lenses. The 5001 Square adds UV and anti-reflective lens options; the Plus Panthos lists a scratch-resistant coating.

Nuance Audio 5001 Square 54 Glasses vs Nuance Audio Plus Panthos Hearing Aid Glasses

Both are Nuance Audio hearing glasses, so the choice comes down to frame size, shape and battery. The Plus Panthos is the more documented product: 10 hours of use, 6 microphones, 2 speakers, Bluetooth LE, and a medium-width 48-22 panthos frame. The 5001 Square is a wider 54 mm square acetate frame with a wireless charging pad, but its battery and microphone specs are not published. The 5001 Square's only recorded price is $699.00 as of November 1, 2026; no price is listed for the Plus Panthos, so compare at checkout.
