Questions and answers
- Which is better value?
- The clear 15-count. At $159 at Distritech as of November 3 it gives 15 pipes against 5 in the colored set, so roughly a third the cost per pipe.
- Which lasts longer?
- Neither is built to last. Glass oil burners are consumables that soot up and break. The 15-count spreads breakage over more spares.
- Is the colored set worth the extra per pipe?
- Only if color or the 4-inch length matters to you. Otherwise you pay about three times as much per pipe for the same glass.
- Do the colored pipes break in shipping?
- Buyers report over half arriving broken in some orders, with photo proof and saved glass required for claims. The clear 15-count has no such pattern reported.
- Does the L-shape matter?
- It changes how the pipe sits and where the opening points. The straight colored pipes fit standard holders; check your holder before choosing the L-shape.
- Are both for fragrance oil only?
- The colored set is labeled for home fragrance oil use. The clear 15-count listing states no use, so treat both the same way.
