Which is better for long runs and long calls?

The OpenMeet UC. It lists up to 15 hours of listening and 14 hours of talk, against 10 hours for the OpenRun Pro MINI, and a 5-minute charge adds 2 hours of talk.

Which fits a smaller head?

The OpenRun Pro MINI. Its band is .5 inch shorter and it comes in two sizes, while the OpenMeet UC is a single standard size.

Can I swim in either one?

No. The OpenRun Pro MINI is IP67 but Shokz says it is not intended for swimming. The OpenMeet UC lists water resistance without an IP rating.

Is the OpenRun Pro MINI worth the extra if it costs more?

Only if fit and waterproofing matter most. It gives you the shorter band, IP67, and bone-conduction sound, but the OpenMeet UC wins on battery, Bluetooth version, and range.

Which has better sound?

The OpenRun Pro MINI uses 8th-generation bone conduction with PremiumPitch 2.0+ and surround sound. The OpenMeet UC lists a 20Hz-20kHz frequency response but no sound technology detail.

Do both work with phones for calls?

Yes. Both are Bluetooth headsets with a microphone and noise canceling, and both are listed for mobile phone use.

Shokz OpenMeet UC vs Shokz OpenRun Pro Mini

Both are open-ear Shokz headsets for sports, but they fit different heads and different budgets. The OpenMeet UC is the newer, longer-lasting pick: Bluetooth 5.4, up to 15 hours of listening and 14 hours of talk, plus a 5-minute charge for 2 hours of talk. The OpenRun Pro MINI is the smaller-band version of the OpenRun line, rated IP67 and built on 8th-generation bone conduction, but it lists only 10 hours of battery.
