Which is better for two large cats?

Product A. It states 2-3 cats up to 20 lbs each and a 66 lb main-tier capacity. Product B caps cats at 10 lbs per compartment.

Is B worth saving the $8 over A?

Yes if your cats are under 10 lbs. B is $96.00 at English Elm versus $103.89 at eBay for A as of November 4, 2026, and B adds escape doors and a raised floor.

Which is better for feral cats?

Product B. Its five doors, including side escape doors, and raised floor suit a shelter you leave out year-round for cats that need a fast exit.

Do both need assembly?

Yes. Both ship flat and require assembly with included hardware. B weighs 52.9 lbs assembled, so plan for two people to move it.

Will either hold up in rain?

Both use a fir wood frame and an asphalt roof. B adds an asphalt eave and a raised floor, which keeps the base off wet ground.

Neither maker publishes a lifespan. Both are fir wood with asphalt roofing, so expect similar wear; B's raised floor helps slow rot at the base.
