    Questions and answers

Which one do I need for a PRO 550?
The PRO Series battery. The TT15 Mini is a tracking collar for Alpha systems and will not power a PRO 550 handheld.
Is the TT15 Mini a battery upgrade?
No. Despite the listing title, it is a refurbished tracking collar. The 1200 mAh figure refers to the collar's internal pack, which you cannot swap into a PRO Series device.
Which lasts longer on a charge?
The PRO Series battery is rated about 60 hours on PRO 70, PRO 550 and SPORT PRO, and about 40 on the PRO Trashbreaker. Garmin does not publish a comparable runtime for the TT15 Mini.
Is the TT15 Mini worth buying without a warranty?
Only if you need a cheap spare collar for an Alpha handheld and accept the risk. Garmin has ended TT15 Mini service, so repairs may not be possible.
Does the battery come with tools?
Yes. It includes a star bit screwdriver, two Phillips head screws, two screws and instructions.
    How do the prices compare?
The PRO Series battery was $28.95 at Huntsmart on November 1, 2026 and $28.99 on November 2, 2026. No price was given for the TT15 Mini.
