Which is better for a small living room?

The Puremind. It is 64.2" wide against 72" for the Alameda, and it still opens to a queen bed.

Is the Alameda worth the extra $226?

Only if you want armrests and a wider sofa. Both open to a queen bed, and the Puremind lists a metal frame and a 550 lb rating the Alameda does not.

Hard to say from the listings. The Puremind states a metal frame and metal legs; the Alameda does not state its frame material, so check that before buying.

Do both sleep two people?

Yes. Both are queen pull-out sleepers, so both fit two adults.

Which is easier to clean?

The Alameda's corduroy hides marks better. The Puremind's linen is breathable but lighter in color and shows stains sooner.

Which has a higher weight limit?

The Puremind, at 550 lb. The Alameda does not list a weight capacity.
