Questions and answers
- Will the Pyramid ribbon fit an Acroprint ATR120?
- No. The Pyramid ribbon is listed for Pyramid 3500, 3700, 4000 and 4000HD clocks. The ATR120 takes the Acroprint 390127000 ribbon.
- Will the Acroprint ribbon fit a Pyramid 4000?
- No. The Acroprint ribbon is made for the ATR120 only. Use the Pyramid two-color ribbon for the 4000 and 4000HD.
- Which ribbon lasts longer?
- Neither listing gives a yield figure. The Pyramid ribbon is 10.5 ft long and sold as long-life; the Acroprint ribbon's length is not stated, so they cannot be compared on life.
- Is the Acroprint ribbon worth $15.89?
- It is the only new price listed for it, and it dropped to $12.99 on November 1. If you own an ATR120, it is the ribbon that fits, so the choice is about timing rather than a cheaper alternative.
- Do both print in two colors?
- Yes. Both are black/red ribbons, so regular and overtime punches print in different colors on their respective clocks.
- How many ribbons come in each pack?
- The Pyramid listing is quantity 1. The Acroprint listing does not state a quantity, so confirm before ordering if you need spares.
