Which kit fits a standard tub replacement?

The Kerdi Complete KSK9651525SPVC. Its 38" x 60" tray matches a typical tub alcove, and its off-center drain often lines up with existing plumbing.

Which has more waterproofing membrane?

The KSK12201830ABS. It includes 128 sq ft versus 108 sq ft in the Complete kit, a 20 sq ft difference that matters on larger walls.

Is one worth more than the other?

No. Both are $469.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026. Pay the same and pick by tray size and drain position, not price.

Can I use the 48" x 72" tray in a 38" x 60" space?

No. The tray must match the framed opening. Cutting a foam tray voids the waterproofing and the warranty.

Do both kits include the curb and drain?

Yes. Both list a 38" x 6" x 4-1/2" curb and a 2" drain outlet, plus 5" x 33' waterproofing band.

Both use the same Kerdi membrane and band system, so service life is similar. The KSK12201830ABS states a 10-year limited warranty; the Complete kit's listing does not state one.
