Which kit is cheaper?

Product A is $557.82 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, against $609.89 for Product B at Amazon the same date. That is about $52 less, but A does not include a drain grate.

Do both fit a 48 in. x 48 in. shower?

Both are sold as 48 in. x 48 in. kits. Product A's spec sheet also lists a 38 in. x 60 in. tray, so confirm the tray dimensions on the box before you buy.

Which one includes the drain grate?

Only Product B lists a stainless steel grate in the box. Product A is explicitly sold without a grate and needs a Kerdi-Drain grate bought separately.

Is the drain centered or off-center?

Product A's specs say off-center. Product B's highlights say center drain while its specs say off-center, so check the tray before you set the plumbing.

Both use the same Kerdi waterproofing approach, so service life depends on installation. Product B states a 10-year limited warranty; Product A states none.

Is B worth the extra money?

Yes if you still need a grate and value a stated warranty. If you already have a Kerdi-Drain grate, A saves you about $52.

Buy A if you already have a Kerdi-Drain grate and want to save about $52. Buy B if you want the grate in the box and a longer stated warranty.

Today the Schluter Kerdi Complete Shower Kit costs $87.83 less at its best price.
