Which is better for a small living room?

The Serta Copenhagen. At 89 inches wide it fits tighter spaces, and the storage chaise adds function without extra floor space. The Idou runs 106 inches and needs more wall.

Which is easier to keep clean with kids or pets?

The Idou. Its vegan leather wipes clean, while the Serta's woven polyester blend absorbs spills and needs spot cleaning. The Serta does offer hidden storage for toys and blankets.

Does either one have storage?

Only the Serta. Lift the chaise and you get a compartment for pillows, blankets and games. The Idou has no storage, but it does have cup holders.

Is the Serta worth the extra money?

At $559.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it is the only one of the two with a stated price, and it was $463.14 on October 30, 2026. Whether it is worth more than the Idou depends on the Idou's current store price, so check that first.

Neither has a durability rating beyond the Serta's solid wood frame and 749.6-lb capacity. Vegan leather like the Idou's tends to crack over years, while woven fabric like the Serta's can pill and stain.

Can I get the Serta in a left-facing layout?

Yes. The Serta comes in right- or left-side chaise arrangements, though the gray color is the one listed here. The Idou is sold as a three-piece set in black only.
