Which is better for braces or implants?

The Waterpik Ultra is the safer pick. It is ADA accepted and Waterpik markets it for braces, implants, crowns, bridges and periodontal pockets. The Burst works too, but it makes no such claim.

Which has the bigger water tank?

The Burst. Its 651 ml (22 oz) reservoir lasts about 90 seconds. The Waterpik Ultra's covered reservoir is smaller, so you refill more often.

Can I use the Burst in the shower?

Yes. Burst designed it as water-resistant and shower-ready. The Waterpik Ultra plugs into AC mains, so keep it at the sink.

Is the Waterpik worth the extra money?

At $37.50 versus $29.99, the $7.51 gap buys ADA acceptance and a plug-in design with no battery to age. If you want cordless and shower use, the Burst is the better value.

The Waterpik Ultra has no battery, so its main wear item is the pump. The Burst's battery degrades over years of charging. Both carry a 3-year warranty.

Do both have 10 pressure settings?

Yes. Both list 10 settings, and both have 360-degree tip rotation.

The Burst is $29.99 at Amazon as of November 7, 2026, and the Waterpik Ultra is $37.50 at eBay as of the same date.
