Is the Armen Living Michalina sofa worth $649?

At $649 at Macy's as of November 4, 2026, it is a fair price for an 84-inch, no-assembly sofa with a 793 lb capacity. Comparable fabric sofas often cost more once you add assembly and delivery.

Does it come fully assembled?

Yes. The listing states no assembly is needed, so it arrives ready to place. Check that your doorways and elevator fit an 84-inch-wide piece before ordering.

Can the cushion covers be washed?

Only the back cushions are removable. The seat cushions are fixed, so spot-clean the polyester fabric rather than machine washing it.

How does it compare with a sectional?

It is a stationary three-seater, not a sectional, so it fits smaller rooms and tight layouts. You give up the chaise or corner seating a sectional offers.

When is the price lowest?

Sofa prices usually dip around major holiday sales and clearance events. Track the price history here and compare the five stores listing it before buying.
