Is the LG C5 worth it over the C4?

The C5 adds a brighter evo panel and the newer processor, so it is the better pick if you watch a lot of HDR or game at high frame rates. If you find a C4 at a much lower price, the gap is modest.

Is 144Hz useful for consoles?

Yes for PCs and the latest consoles that output high frame rates. The four HDMI 2.1 ports and VRR support mean you can keep a console and a PC connected without swapping cables.

Burn-in is possible with static logos or tickers shown for many hours every day. For normal mixed viewing it is rare, and LG includes pixel-refresh routines to reduce the risk.

Do I need a soundbar?

Most owners add one. The built-in speakers handle news and casual viewing, but films and games benefit from a separate bar or speakers.

The TV, its stand, a remote and the power cable. A wall mount and HDMI cables are not included.

OLED prices typically drop around Black Friday, the Super Bowl and when the next model year is announced. Track the price history before buying.
