Is the Happrun Roku TV projector worth it?

It is a good pick if you want a cheap, portable projector with streaming built in and will watch in a dark room. If you need daytime brightness or full HD, spend more on a brighter 1080p model.

Do I need a Roku account to use it?

Yes. You sign in with a Roku account to stream Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Apple TV and free live channels. Without an account you can still use HDMI and mirroring inputs.

How bright is 150 ANSI lumens?

It is dim. Expect a watchable picture only in a dark or heavily dimmed room, and a washed-out one near windows or lamps.

Can it project onto the ceiling?

Yes. The 270° rotating design points the lens at a wall or straight up at the ceiling without moving the base.

The projector, a remote, a power adapter and a quick start guide. You supply an HDMI cable for consoles or laptops.

Its recent low was $138.79 on October 31, against a high of $179.99 on October 30. Watch for drops back toward that low rather than buying at the top of the range.

At 150 ANSI lumens it is a dark-room projector, not a daytime one. Its recent price has run from $179.99 down to $138.79, so the low end of that range is the time to buy.
