Is the Onson robot vacuum worth it?

At $79.79 it is cheap for a vacuum-and-mop robot with app and voice control. The 2.4-out-of-5 rating and reports of rug snags and charging faults mean it suits hard floors and light use, not carpeted homes.

Does it work on carpets and rugs?

Buyers report it gets stuck on lightweight thin mats and rugs and that the brushes pull them up. It performs best on hard floors.

How does it connect to Alexa and Google Home?

It pairs through the Tuya app, which also handles scheduling and manual control. Voice commands work once the skill is linked.

How big is the dustbin?

The bin holds 0.06 gal, which is small, so expect to empty it after most runs.

What is the battery life?

Onson claims up to 120 minutes of runtime with self-charging. Real runtime will be shorter at full suction.

Is $79.79 a good price?

$79.79 at Walmart as of October 31, 2026 is the only price recorded so far, so there is no history to compare it with. It is low for the feature set.
