Is the 165Hz screen worth it over a 60Hz laptop?

Yes for gaming. The 165Hz panel makes fast motion look smoother, and the 1920 x 1200 resolution adds vertical space over 1080p.

Is 64GB of RAM overkill for gaming?

For most games, yes. 16GB to 32GB is enough; 64GB helps with virtual machines, heavy editing and many open apps at once.

How does it compare with the Legion line?

The LOQ is Lenovo's budget gaming line. Legions have stronger cooling and build quality, while the LOQ costs less for similar core specs.

Can I upgrade the RAM and storage later?

On most LOQ 15 models, yes. Both the memory slots and the M.2 drive are accessible, though check the specific configuration before buying.

Is $1,577.99 a good price?

That is high for an LOQ. Standard configurations sell well below $1,200, so this price reflects the 64GB/2TB setup; compare against similarly equipped rivals before buying.

What ports does it have?

Typical LOQ 15 models include USB-A and USB-C ports, HDMI, Ethernet and a headphone jack, which covers most gaming setups.

About the Lenovo LOQ 15.3" FHD+ 165Hz AI Gaming Laptop

The Lenovo LOQ 15.3 is a budget-minded gaming laptop with a 15.3-inch 1920 x 1200 display that refreshes at 165Hz, an octa-core CPU boosting to 5.1 GHz, and a discrete NVIDIA GPU. This configuration pairs 64GB of RAM with a 2TB drive, well above the usual 16GB/512GB base models. The best new price is $1,577.99 at eBay as of November 6, 2026, with two stores listing it new; that is a high figure for the LOQ line, which normally sells well under $1,200, so this listing reflects the upgraded memory and storage rather than a bargain.
