Is 4GB of RAM enough for this laptop?

For browsing, email and documents, yes, but keep tabs to a minimum. If you routinely run many browser tabs or office apps at once, look for an 8GB model.

Can I upgrade the RAM or storage?

The 256GB SSD can usually be swapped for a larger drive. RAM on HP's entry 14-inch models is often soldered, so check the specific model's service manual before buying if you plan to add memory.

Is the screen good for outdoor use?

The matte, no-glare finish helps, but 1366 x 768 resolution and modest brightness mean it is best indoors or in shade.

Does it come with Windows installed?

Yes, it ships with Windows preinstalled. The listing does not specify the edition, so confirm whether it is Home or S mode before buying if you need full desktop apps.

Is $279.99 a good price?

It is a fair entry-level price for a 14-inch touchscreen laptop with a 256GB SSD, at the low end of its recent range. It is not a deep discount, so buy if you need it now rather than waiting for a sale.

The laptop and its power adapter. A stylus and carrying case are not included.
