Is the MacBook Air M3 15 worth it at $814.95?

At $814.95 at Walmart, marked 38% off the $1,321.00 regular price, it is a strong value for a 15-inch Mac. That is well under the $1,099.00 recent high, so the price is good if 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage fit your needs.

How does it compare with the 13-inch MacBook Air M3?

They share the same M3 chip, ports and battery rating. The 15-inch adds a larger 15.3-inch screen and better speakers, at a higher price and slightly more weight.

How long does the battery last?

Apple rates it up to 18 hours on a 66.5Wh lithium-polymer battery. Real-world mixed use typically lands shorter, and video streaming or heavy apps drain it faster.

Is 8GB of memory enough?

For browsing, documents, email and light photo editing, yes. If you keep many tabs open, run virtual machines or edit large video projects, choose 16GB or more, since memory cannot be added later.

What comes in the box?

The laptop, a USB-C to MagSafe 3 charging cable and a 35W dual USB-C power adapter. No mouse or external display is included.

Prices swing around sales events like Black Friday and back-to-school. The tracked recent high was $1,099.00 on October 31, 2026, so the current $814.95 at Walmart is already near the low end of its range.
