How big is the Kate Spade Hazel Mini?

It is a mini camera bag, roughly hand-sized. Expect room for a phone, cardholder, keys and sunglasses, but not a full-size wallet plus a water bottle.

Does the strap come off?

Yes, the strap is detachable, so the bag can be carried as a crossbody, on the shoulder or as a small top-handle tote.

Yes, Kate Spade lists the Hazel as genuine leather. The smooth finish looks polished but shows scuffs more than pebbled leather.

Is the Hazel Mini good for everyday use?

For light days, yes. If you carry a laptop, umbrella or full wallet, a larger crossbody or tote will suit you better.

When is the best time to buy it?

Kate Spade bags are discounted most during seasonal sales and outlet events. Check the price history before buying at full price.

About the Kate Spade Hazel Mini Camera Bag

The Kate Spade Hazel is a small camera-style crossbody in genuine leather, with a zip top and a removable strap that lets it work as a shoulder bag or a compact tote. The mini size holds a phone, cardholder, keys and sunglasses, not much more. It is a fashion-first bag rather than a daily carry-everything. No current price was supplied, so compare live store prices before buying.
