One mixer, nine jobs, a big seven-and-a-half-quart bowl

Questions and answers

Is the Specstar 9 in 1 worth it?

At $138.94 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, it is one of the cheapest ways to get a 7.5-quart, 660-watt stand mixer with nine attachments. It makes sense if you bake in volume and want to spend little; expect heavier build and less refinement than premium brands.

How does it compare with a KitchenAid stand mixer?

It offers a bigger bowl and more attachments for far less money. KitchenAid mixers have a longer reliability record, better resale value and a wider attachment ecosystem; the Specstar is the budget pick for large batches.

What comes in the box?

The mixer is sold as a 9-in-1 set, so it ships with nine attachments for mixing, whisking, kneading and food prep. Check the listing's attachment list before buying, since sets can vary.

Is the 7.5-quart bowl too big for small recipes?

For a single cake or a small batch of frosting, yes; a large bowl leaves ingredients spread thin under the beaters. It is best for double batches of dough, batter or mashed potatoes.

How many speeds does it have?

It has six speeds with variable speed control, driven by a 660-watt motor. Start low when mixing flour so it does not spray out of the bowl.

When is the price lowest?

The best new price recorded is $138.94 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, with two stores listing it new. Watch for holiday sales, when stand mixers usually drop.
