It is Nuloom's name for the rug's spill-resistant surface treatment. Liquids are meant to sit on top so you can blot them up instead of soaking into the pile.

Is this rug soft enough for a living room?

It is a low-pile rug, so expect a firm, flat feel rather than a plush one. It suits high-traffic areas more than lounging on the floor.

Does it need a rug pad?

A pad is recommended. The thin backing can slide on hard floors, and a pad adds cushioning and grip.

What sizes and colors does it come in?

This listing is the 5' x 8' in sage green. Other sizes and colors exist in the Nuloom Smart Plus line, but this page covers only the sage green 5' x 8'.

Blot spills right away, then spot clean with mild soap and water. Vacuum on a low setting without a beater bar to protect the surface.

Is $90.47 a good price?

It is the only new price listed, $90.47 at Bed Bath & Beyond as of November 8, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge it against. Compare it with other 5' x 8' washable or spill-resistant rugs before buying.
