Is the Airfind kayak worth $1,054.99?

It is a reasonable price for a 10 ft sit-on-top with a paddle and 287 lb capacity included. Comparable recreational sit-on-tops often land in the same range, so the included paddle is the main value add.

Is it stable enough for a beginner?

Yes. The V-chine hull and 2.6 ft beam are built for tracking and resistance to flipping, which suits flat water and slow rivers. It is not a surf or whitewater boat.

How heavy is it to carry?

It weighs 58 lb, which one adult can lift but not carry far. Plan on a cart or a second person for roof loading.

Does it come with a paddle?

Yes, a detachable double-head aluminum and PP paddle is in the box. You still need a PFD, which is not included.

One adult rider, up to 287 lb total including gear. There is no second seat.

Has the price dropped recently?

No. The lowest and highest daily price since October 31, 2026 were both $1,054.99 at Walmart, so it has not moved.

It weighs 58 lb, so it is a car-top or short-carry boat rather than a backpackable one. The large bungee deck storage and four-position footrests point it at casual paddling and light fishing.
