Is the Shark PowerDetect UV Reveal worth $699.99?

It is a premium price for a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop. It makes sense if you want HEPA filtration and one machine for hard floors and carpet; if you mostly have carpet or want cordless freedom, a cheaper vacuum may serve you better.

It weighs 27 lb. That is heavy for a vacuum, so expect to notice it on stairs and when carrying it between floors.

Does it work on carpet?

It is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop. The vacuum side handles carpet, while the mop function is for hard floors; check the manual before using the mop on carpet or rugs.

Does it have a HEPA filter?

Yes. The HEPA filter is aimed at trapping fine dust and allergens, which suits allergy sufferers.

No. It is a corded machine, so you will need an outlet within reach and you will manage a cord while cleaning.

Where is the best price?

The best new price is $699.99 at Target as of November 8, 2026. Only one store lists it new, so compare less and buy when you need it rather than waiting for a price war.
