Questions and answers

Is the Brooklyn Bedding Gel Infused Memory Foam Mattress worth it?

At $154 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get gel memory foam with a plush or firm choice. It suits budget buyers and guest rooms more than shoppers who want a premium, long-life mattress.

Should I pick the 10-inch or 12-inch version?

The 12-inch adds more foam depth for heavier sleepers and a plusher feel, while the 10-inch is lighter and cheaper. Either fits standard sheets, though deep-pocket sheets suit the 12-inch better.

Is it good for side sleepers?

Buyers report proper back support and relief at the hips and shoulders, which suits side sleepers. Choose the plush option if you want more sink-in at the shoulder.

Does the gel foam actually sleep cool?

Buyers describe cool, breathable sleep, and the gel infusion is meant to pull heat away from the body. It is still an all-foam mattress, so it will run warmer than a coil or hybrid bed.

What comes in the box?

The mattress arrives compressed in a box and expands after unboxing. It is a mattress only; a foundation or frame is sold separately.

When is it cheapest?

The current $154 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026 is already at the low end of its recent range. Foam mattresses like this one typically drop further around Black Friday and Memorial Day sales.
