Is the Barbie Gymnastics Playset worth it?

At $15 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it is a solid value for a gift: you get a doll, a balance beam and 10+ accessories. It suits kids who already like gymnastics or Barbie dolls.

The listing recommends ages 3 to 10, and the box highlights say 4 to 12. Small accessories like the snack and medal make 3 and up the safer floor.

Does it need batteries or assembly?

No. It runs on imagination only, with no batteries required or included, and it comes ready to play with no assembly.

You get the brunette Barbie doll, a balance beam with a flip feature, two hoops, a gym bag, water bottle, medal, snack and sneakers.

How does it compare with a plain Barbie doll?

It costs about the same as a basic fashion doll but adds a balance beam, a flip mechanism and sports accessories. The trade-off is a fixed gymnastics theme rather than a doll you can dress for any occasion.

Toy sets like this usually drop during Black Friday and pre-holiday sales. The current $15 at Walmart is already near the bottom of its recent range, so waiting may save little.
