Questions and answers

Is the Miko purifier worth it at $73.70?

At $73.70 at Walmart as of November 6, 2026, it is a cheap way to get HEPA filtration, app control and a diffuser in one unit. Expect it to suit a bedroom or office rather than a whole open floor plan.

Does it really clean 1,500 square feet?

That is Miko's rating, but a unit at this price moves limited air. Treat 1,500 sq ft as a best case and expect slower cleaning in large, open rooms.

Can I turn off the ionizer?

The ionizer is a separate feature from the HEPA filter. Check the app or manual for an ionizer toggle before buying if you want to avoid ozone exposure.

What filters does it use?

It uses a HEPA filter with an odor-absorbing stage. Confirm the replacement filter model with the seller, since running cost depends on filter price and how often you change it.

Does the diffuser work without the fan?

The diffuser is part of the purifier, so scent spreads with airflow. Run the fan on low if you want a light scent rather than a strong one.

When is it cheapest?

The current $73.70 at Walmart is already near the bottom of its recent range. Watch for seasonal sales, but there is little room left for a big drop.
