Is the Happrun 2500 ANSI worth it at $359.99?

At $359.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is a fair price for a native 1080p projector with Google TV built in. You avoid buying a streaming stick, which narrows the gap to cheaper 1080p models.

Is 2,500 lumens bright enough for daytime?

It is enough for a dim room with curtains closed. In daylight or with lamps on, expect a washed-out picture; a brighter projector or a TV handles that better.

Does it need a streaming stick?

No. Google TV is built in, so Netflix, YouTube and other apps run on the projector itself. You still need Wi-Fi and your own accounts.

Expect the projector, a power cable and a remote. A tripod or screen is not usually included, so budget for a mount or screen if you don't have one.

Can I connect a console or laptop?

Yes, through HDMI. Bluetooth lets you pair a speaker or soundbar, which is worth doing because built-in projector audio is thin.

Projectors like this tend to drop around Black Friday and back-to-school sales. Check the price history before buying; $359.99 is the current best new price across two stores.
