What buyers say
Buyers like
- Good ventilation for a single person, with three door zips allowing high/low airflow
- Top vents seem to provide enough airflow in an alpine environment
- Fabric perceived as tough, sturdy and voluminous
- Bombproof in a bad windstorm when staked out properly with guylines
- Kept rain out and moved moisture through the fabric; condensation never an issue
- Easy and quick setup; warm and protective in cold conditions
Buyers complain about
- Had to seal the seams twice to make the tent repel rain
- Seam sealer not included; must be bought separately
- Poles are not precurved, making them hard to insert and a worry they may snap
- Heavy and bulky; packed size about twice that of the Firstlight
- More difficult to pitch than some other tents; door is smaller
- Plastic pole twist ties may not hold up to repeated use
