Is the LG C6 worth it over a cheaper LCD?

If you watch in a dim room and care about contrast, yes: OLED gives per-pixel blacks that LCDs can't match. In a bright room, a brighter LCD may serve you better.

Is $949.99 a good price for the 55-inch C6?

It is mid-band. The lowest daily price since November 2, 2026 was $849.00 on November 6, and the highest was $999.99 on November 2, so $949.99 at Abt is $100 above the recent low.

Does it support 4K 120Hz gaming?

Yes. The panel is 120Hz with 165Hz VRR support, and there are four HDMI ports for consoles and a PC.

Will I get burn-in from news tickers or game HUDs?

OLED can retain static images over long periods. Vary content and use the TV's screen-shift and logo-dim settings to lower the risk.

Do I need a soundbar?

It supports Dolby Atmos, but owners find the built-in speakers thin. A soundbar or AV receiver improves dialogue and bass.

The TV, its stand, remote and power cable. Check the listing for the exact accessories before ordering.
