About the LucidSound LS25 eSports Stereo Gaming Headset

The LucidSound LS25 eSports Edition is a wired stereo gaming headset built for competitive PC play, with 50mm neodymium drivers, a detachable unidirectional boom mic plus a second mic in the left earcup, and leatherette memory-foam earpads. It connects over 3.5mm with a single 4-pole cable or a dedicated PC cable, and the earcups twist flat for storage. At $29.50 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the only price recorded since October 30, 2026, so there is no cheaper point in that window. It is a budget headset, and the price reflects that.

Questions and answers

Is the LS25 worth it at $29.50?
At $29.50 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get 50mm drivers and a detachable boom mic. Expect budget build quality, especially at the cable.
Does it work with consoles or only PC?
It uses a 3.5mm jack, so it works with anything that has a 3.5mm headphone port, including consoles and phones. The dedicated PC cable is included for desktop setups.
Is the microphone detachable?
Yes. The unidirectional boom mic detaches, and a second mic is built into the left earcup. The boom mic has an LED mute indicator.
Does it have noise cancellation?
No active cancellation. It relies on passive isolation from the over-ear leatherette pads, and the mic is designed to reduce background noise.
What is in the box?
The headset, a dedicated PC connection cable and a 3.5mm connection cable. The boom mic is part of the headset.
Has the price been lower?
No. The lowest daily price recorded since October 30, 2026 is $29.50, the same as the current Walmart price.
