About the Hxfou Forest Castle Magnetic Building Blocks

The Hxfou Forest Castle is a magnetic building block set that snaps together into a castle-themed build, aimed at kids roughly 3 and up. Magnetic tiles and pieces are the draw: open-ended building with no glue or tools, and a forest-castle theme that gives younger builders a starting idea. At $23.99 at Walmart as of November 8, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against. Treat it as a budget-priced starter set rather than a large magnetic tile kit.

    • Questions and answers

Is the Hxfou Forest Castle worth $23.99?
At $23.99 it is a low-cost way to try magnetic building. Expect a modest piece count; if you want big builds, a larger name-brand tile set gives more pieces per dollar.
What age is this set for?
Magnetic building sets like this are generally aimed at ages 3 and up. The pieces contain small magnets, so keep them away from kids who still mouth toys.
Does it work with Magna-Tiles or other magnetic tiles?
Magnetic tile sets often connect across brands when the magnet placement matches, but compatibility is not guaranteed. Check the piece shapes and magnet layout before mixing sets.
How many pieces are in the box?
The listing does not state a piece count. Confirm the count on the Walmart listing before buying, since it decides how much can be built.
    Is $23.99 a good price?
Only one store lists it new at $23.99 as of November 8, 2026, so there is no price history to judge against. Compare piece count with other magnetic sets at the same price.
Is it safe for a 2-year-old?
No. Small magnets are a choking and ingestion hazard for children under 3, so this set is not suitable for a 2-year-old.
