Banana Republic Factory Women's Long Puffer Coat

Questions and answers

Is this coat warm enough for winter?

It is midweight, so it works for fall and mild winter days, especially layered. For below-freezing temperatures you will want a heavier down or synthetic coat.

How does the sizing run?

The fit is relaxed, so it leaves room for sweaters. It comes in regular and petite/short lengths, so shorter shoppers should pick the petite/short option for a knee-length look.

Is it waterproof?

The polyester shell is listed as suitable for rain, so it sheds light rain. It is not a sealed waterproof shell, so heavy or prolonged rain can soak through seams.

What is the best price right now?

The best new price is $90.00 at Banana Republic Factory as of November 6, 2026. Two stores list it new, so compare both before buying.

Does it have a hood?

Yes, it has a hood. The listing does not mention a removable or adjustable hood, so expect a fixed hood.

Is it machine washable?

The listing does not state care instructions. Polyester puffers are usually machine washable on cold and tumble dried low with dryer balls, but check the care label on the coat.
