Is this kit worth $250?

At $250 it is a fair price if you need both tools and the batteries. If you already own 20V MAX packs, buying the router bare tool alone usually costs less.

How does the ATOMIC router compare to DeWalt's full-size router?

The ATOMIC is smaller and lighter, which suits trim, edge profiles and hinge mortises. A full-size router has more power and accepts larger bits for deep or heavy cuts.

What tools come in the kit?

The kit is built around the brushless compact router and includes a second 20V MAX tool, plus two lithium-ion batteries. Confirm the second tool model with the seller before buying, since bundle contents vary.

Are the batteries compatible with other DeWalt tools?

Yes. The included 20V MAX lithium-ion batteries work with other DeWalt 20V MAX tools, and those tools' batteries work in this router.

When is the price likely to be lowest?

With only two stores listing it new, discounts are limited. Watch for holiday sales and DeWalt promotions, when combo kits typically drop the most.

Does it come with a charger?

Most DeWalt two-tool combo kits include a charger, but confirm it in the listing. If you already have 20V MAX batteries and a charger, a bare-tool purchase may be cheaper.

About the DeWalt ATOMIC 20V MAX 2-Tool Combo Kit with Brushless Compact Router

This is a two-piece DeWalt 20V MAX kit built around the ATOMIC brushless compact router, paired with a second 20V tool and two lithium-ion batteries. The brushless motor is the headline: it runs cooler and lasts longer than brushed motors, and the compact router is sized for trim work, edge profiles and small plunge cuts rather than full-size table routing. The best new price is $250 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, with only two stores listing it new, so it sits near the top of its recent range and there is little competition to push it lower.
