About the Novilla 12'' Memory Foam Mattress

The Novilla 12-inch is a budget memory foam mattress sold in Full, Queen and King. It stacks a gel-infused memory foam layer over support foam, giving a medium-firm feel that suits back and stomach sleepers more than side sleepers. At $88.64 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is far below what most 12-inch memory foam mattresses cost, so the main question is whether the build holds up.

No trial period or warranty support you would get from a major brand
  • All-foam edge support is weak, so the sides compress
  • Heavy and hard to move once expanded
  • Durability is a gamble at this price; expect softening within a few years
  • Side sleepers may find it too firm for shoulders and hips

    • What reviewers say

Ratings average 4.5 out of 5 from about 1,400 buyers, and most describe it as good value for a spare bed or a tight budget. Complaints tend to center on firmness and on how long it lasts.

    Pros
    • Comfortable for the price
    • Expands fully within a day or two
    • Firm enough for back sleepers
    • Good for guest rooms
    Cons
    • Firmer than expected
    • Softens or sags sooner than premium foam
    • Weak edge support
    • Chemical smell on unboxing

    Questions and answers

Is the Novilla 12-inch mattress worth it?
At $88.64 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is one of the cheapest 12-inch memory foam mattresses you can buy. It makes sense for a guest room or short-term use; if you want a mattress to last a decade, spend more.
Is it good for side sleepers?
Mostly no. The medium-firm foam does not cushion shoulders and hips enough for many side sleepers. Back and stomach sleepers tend to be happier with it.
How long does it take to expand?
It ships compressed in a box and usually reaches full 12-inch height within 24 to 72 hours. Cooler rooms slow expansion, so give it extra time.
Does it need a box spring?
No. It works on a slatted bed frame, platform base or adjustable base. A solid or slatted foundation with good airflow is better than a sagging old box spring.
What sizes does it come in?
Full, Queen and King. The Queen measures about 80 inches long, standard for the size.
    When is it cheapest?
