Is the Dreame D30 Ultra worth it at $274.99?

At $274.99 at eBay as of November 8, 2026, it is a low price for a self-emptying vacuum and mop. It suits hard floors and low-pile carpet; skip it if you have thick carpet.

Does it empty itself?

Yes. It docks and empties into a 0.85 gal bag, so you change the bag roughly every few weeks rather than after each run.

Does it work on carpet?

It vacuums low-pile carpet fine, but owners report weaker pickup and more stalling on thick pile. It lifts or avoids mopping on carpet depending on settings.

Do I have to wash the mop pads by hand?

Yes. This model has no hot-water pad washing in the dock, so pads are removed and washed by hand.

The vacuum and dock together weigh about 27 lb, and the base needs clear floor space and a nearby outlet. Measure before placing it.

What comes in the box?

Expect the robot, the self-empty base, a dust bag, mop pads, a side brush and a power cord. Extra bags and pads are sold separately.
