Does it vacuum and mop at the same time?

It runs vacuuming and mopping as part of one cleaning routine, switching modes as it moves between floor types. The dock washes and dries the pads between runs.

How often do I empty it?

The self-emptying base holds debris for weeks depending on use, so you rarely handle the robot's small bin. The 0.09 gal bin is small, which is why the dock matters.

Is $649.99 a good price?

That is the best new price across three stores as of November 8, 2026, but it is near the top of the model's recent range. Shark robots often drop during holiday sales, so a lower price is plausible.

Does it work on carpet?

Yes, it vacuums carpet, but owners report the strongest results on hard floors and low-pile carpet. Deep-pile carpet is its weaker area.

What do I need to buy regularly?

Replacement mop pads and Shark's cleaning solution are the main consumables, plus bags if your base uses them. Budget for these as an ongoing cost.

The base is bulky because it holds the dust bin, water tanks and pad-washing hardware. Measure your space before buying, since it needs clear wall room.
