Is $55.99 a good price for this set?

At $55.99 at Macy's as of November 7, 2026, it is the best new price among 5 stores. That works out to about $9.33 per towel, reasonable for Supima cotton with an antimicrobial finish.

What is included in the 6-piece set?

The set pairs bath towels with hand towels, six pieces total. Check the listing for the exact split, since Lacoste sells similar sets in different bath-to-hand ratios.

Are these towels plush or lightweight?

They are lightweight zero-twist towels. They feel softer and dry faster than dense plush, but they are thinner and less absorbent-feeling than heavyweight towels.

How should I wash them?

Machine wash them, and avoid fabric softener, which coats zero-twist loops and reduces absorbency. Wash before first use to cut initial lint.

Do the towels really resist odors?

They have an antimicrobial finish meant to slow odor-causing bacteria. Owners report they stay fresher between washes, but the finish fades with repeated hot washes.

Some owners report fading after several washes. Wash in cool water and tumble dry low to slow it.
