Is the Nautica Nayman SP500 really waterproof?

It is rated IPX7, which means it can be immersed in about a meter of water for up to 30 minutes. That covers showers, splashes and accidental drops in the pool, as long as the port cover is closed.

How long does the battery last?

Nautica rates it at up to 9 hours per charge. Expect less at full volume, and plan on a nightly charge if you use it heavily.

Can I take calls on it?

Yes. It has a built-in microphone, so you can use it as a speakerphone for calls paired to your phone.

Is $14.99 a good price?

It is the lowest new price among the 4 stores listed as of November 8, 2026. At that level it is a low-risk buy for a shower or patio speaker.

12 W fills a bathroom or small room easily. For a noisy outdoor gathering, it will run out of headroom and bass.

Expect the speaker and a charging cable. Check the listing for the exact cable type before you buy.
