Is the split king two mattresses or one?

It is two twin XL mattresses placed side by side on one adjustable base. Each side has its own head and foot controls, so partners can set different positions.

Do I need special sheets for a split king?

Yes. Standard king sheets will not fit because the two halves move separately. You need split king sheets, which are less common and usually cost more than standard king sets.

Is the Comfort Hybrid good for hot sleepers?

The mattress uses gel memory foam over pocketed coils, which helps airflow compared with all-foam beds. Most owners report it sleeps reasonably cool, though no mattress is actively cooled.

How much does the bundle cost?

The best new price is $3,929 at GhostBed as of November 6, 2026. Only one store lists it new, so there is no recent price range to compare.

Does the adjustable base have a remote?

Yes. The base includes a wireless remote that controls head and foot articulation for each side of the split king.

Is this bundle worth it over buying a mattress and base separately?

It bundles a hybrid mattress and adjustable base in one purchase, which simplifies matching sizes. Compare the combined price against a split king hybrid plus a comparable adjustable base before deciding.

About the GhostBed Head-to-Toe Adjustable Bed Bundle, Split King, Comfort Hybrid Mattress and Adjustable Base

The GhostBed Head-to-Toe bundle pairs a split king Comfort Hybrid mattress with an adjustable base, so each side of the bed moves independently. The hybrid layers cooling gel memory foam over pocketed coils, and the base adds head and foot articulation plus a wireless remote. At $3,929 at GhostBed as of November 6, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.
