Questions and answers

Is the Dell Pro 14 Plus PB14250 worth it?

Yes for business and office work where vPro management, Windows 11 Pro and a 16:10 screen matter. It is a poor fit if you need bright-screen outdoor use or dedicated graphics.

How does it compare with the previous Latitude 14?

It keeps the business focus but adds a 48 TOPS NPU and newer Intel silicon, which helps with AI-assisted apps and video calls. The 300-nit panel and 55 Wh battery are the main compromises to weigh.

How long does the battery really last?

Dell rates it at 13.5 hours on a 55 Wh battery, which assumes light office use. Expect closer to 8 to 10 hours of mixed browsing and documents, and less under heavy load.

Is the 14-inch screen big enough?

The 16:10 FHD+ panel gives more vertical room than a 16:9 screen of the same size, so it works well for documents and spreadsheets. It is small for side-by-side multitasking, so consider an external monitor.

Can it run games or CAD?

No. Graphics are integrated and shared, so it handles office apps, video and light photo editing but not modern games or demanding 3D CAD.

When is it cheapest?

Business laptops like this usually drop during back-to-school and end-of-quarter sales, and when a new model replaces it. Watch the price history rather than buying on the first discount.
