Is the Ashley Knox sofa good for pets?

The performance polyester velvet resists stains better than standard velvet, and the removable covers help. Pet hair and claw snags are still possible, so a throw or regular vacuuming helps.

How firm is the seat?

Owners describe it as firm out of the box, softening over a few weeks. If you want a plush sink-in feel, add a topper or look at a down-wrapped sofa.

Does it fit through a standard door?

At 84 inches wide it ships in sections, but check your doorway and stair turns before ordering. The 34-inch depth and 35.5-inch height are the limiting dimensions once assembled.

Are the cushion covers washable?

The cushions are removable and reversible, but check the care tag before machine washing. Spot cleaning with a mild detergent is the safer routine for velvet.

How many people does it seat?

Three adults fit comfortably on the 76-inch seat width. The 22-inch seat depth is on the shallow side for very tall users.
