Is this a real 4K projector?

No. The LCD panel is native 1080p; it accepts and decodes 4K video and downscales it to 1080p. Expect a sharp 1080p image, not 4K detail.

How big a screen can it throw?

The listing gives 50 to 300 inches from 5.48 to 24.8 feet, while the spec sheet says 40 to 160 inches. For a bright, even image, stay in the 80 to 120 inch range.

Do I need a streaming stick?

No. Google TV 11.0 is built in, with Netflix, YouTube and other apps, plus Google Assistant voice control. You only need WiFi and a Google account.

Can I use it with a soundbar or headphones?

Yes. It has Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless speakers or headphones and a headphone jack for wired audio. The 5W internal speaker is best kept as a backup.

Is the price likely to drop?

It has held at $189.97 to $189.98 since October 30, 2026, so there is no sign of a sale. Waiting is unlikely to save much; buy when you need it.

Does it work for gaming?

It accepts HDMI input and is marketed for gaming, but no input-lag figure is published. Treat it as a casual gaming projector, not a competitive one.
