Is this rug really machine washable?

Yes. Bungalow Rose lists it as machine washable, but a 2'6" x 5' rug needs a large-capacity or commercial washer. Air-dry it rather than putting it in a dryer.

It is rated for indoor and outdoor use, and the polyester pile handles damp conditions better than wool or cotton. A covered porch or entryway will extend its life more than open rain and sun.

It measures 2'6" wide by 5' long, a runner-style accent size. That fits doorways, kitchen edges and beside a bed, not a full living room.

Yes, it is a high-pile tufted rug. It feels soft underfoot but traps more dirt and is slower to vacuum than a flat-weave rug.

When is the price lowest?

Holiday rugs usually discount after the season, in late December and January. The current best new price is $197.03 at Walmart as of November 8, 2026.

Does it have fringes?

No. It has a clean edge with no fringe, which keeps it from catching at doorways.
